Salam 14 Ramadan 1434H

Assalamualaikum..
dah lama rasanya tak merepek  tulis suka hati kat sini, nk tulis entry pun ikut mood jgk, sekejap je dah smpai 14 Ramadan, sgt pantas rasanya.. Alhamdulillah tempahan biskut raya dh hampir separuh yang siap, tahun ni xde lah banyak, mampu lagi nak buat..bila fikir balik kalau dpt tempahan smpai 100 balang seperti yang ditargetkan.. confirm xterbuat. Allah lebih Mengetahui. 3 minggu lepas agak down  , xtau la kenapa my back pain datang balik & my both legs are swelling.. it's so annoying and stressful, but later that i realize i shouldn't think it that way. sakit itu datang & pergi dengan izin Allah. Alhamdulillah , Ramadan kali ni agak berbeza dari tahun-tahun lepas, tahun-tahun sebelum ni agak kurang menghayati bulan rahmat ni. Tahu, baca dan dengar tapi tak terkesan pun dalam hati. Masya-Allah , hampir 30tahun hidup sekarang baru Realize. Ruginya.ruginya. dulu sibuk kejar ilmu dunia, sampai lupa ilmu akhirat. masa di Uni. berkawan dgn kawan-kawan usrah tapi sekali pun xpernah pergi usrah.., kerja di K.Uni Islam, tiap Jumaat ada tazkirah pun tak pergi jugakk..kenapa? sebab mula-mula sibuk dengan study, nk siapkan assignment la waktu pagi2 org xde tu..lama2 dh jadi habit.

Sekarang, InshaaAllah will change my life-style bit by bit, tapi konsisten tu yg susah..kdg2 dh be on track..tiba-tiba terjatuh..that's the challenge. For starting, i'm focusing on this three things : Solat, Aurat & Al-Quran. InshaaAllah.

Personally there are 3 things that i learnt this month: PUASA, SADAQAH & SIRATULRAHIM
sebelum ni mmglah tau sedekah, tapi xterkesan sgt dgn maksud sedekah..

PUASA & PAHALA
Puasa? yes..sebelum ni berpuasa setakat puasa , menahan lapar dan dahaga & perkara-perkara yang membatalkan puasa. tapi sebenarnya puasa dlm erti yang sebenar adalah menjaga/menahan perbuatan, mata, mulut dan sebagainya. sbg contoh, puasa tapi tak solat, puasa tapi mengumpat, puasa tapi melihat/buat perkara lagha/sia-sia, puasa tapi melawan ibubapa/puasa tapi memutuskan siratulrahim dan..sebagainya..

Apabila berlakunya hari kiamat, semua org akan dakwa mendakwa..anak dakwa bapak, bapak dakwa anak, isteri dakwa suami, etc..semua org nk lepaskn diri masing-masing.  & apabila smpai kepada penghitungan /hisab.. katakanlah pahala A tak cukup, sebab kurang beramal..tiba2 ada org B yang rupanya semasa didunia suka mengata , mengumpat / menganiaya A .jadi pahala B dibayar kepada A.. berkuranglah pahala B. jadi apa yang tinggal? The only pahala yang Allah reserved utk kita is Pahala berpuasa yang sebenar-benarnya berpuasa. Imagine, i just realize about this at my age of 30..mcm mana nk kejar balik pahala puasa lagi 16 tahun yg lepas..masa zaman belajar, puasa takat puasa je..: (  macam mana kalo hidup tak lama? ape je yg yang ada nk bwk nnt :(

SADAQAH
xsemestinya sedekah itu memberi hadiah/mknn/benda/senyum ..setiap perbuatan baik kita juga dikira sedekah, cth: tgh driving, berselisih dgn kereta lain..& kita bagi laluan.. , atau..nampak sampah & tolong kutip & buang ..(sgt tak suka org yg suka membuang sampah di luar kereta, no etchic & SELFISH!)

SIRATULRAHIM
Hubungan manusia-manusia ni sebenarnya yang paling susah nk jaga. I learnt that, Allah tidak mengizinkan orang yang memutuskan siratulrahim atau yang menjadi penyebab terputusnya siratulrahim jumpa malam LailatulQadar . (juga bagi. anak derhaka, peminum arak)
MasyaAllah, pentingnya menjaga hubungan sesama manusia disisi Allah.

Being Me 2013

Alhamdulillah , i had the opportunity to participate in International Islamic Conference organized by Mercy
To those who didn't get the idea what it is all about let me explain a little bit...

"Being Me adalah salah satu program dibawah Mercy (what is Mercy? click here).

I bought an early - bird ticket cost about RM 90 . The program starts at 10am and ends at 10pm! really tough eh..but i only managed to arrived there at 3.30pm which i missed few talks that i aimed for.
the topic that was discussed were...

  • Ultimate Source of Liberation
    - Br. Yusha Evans
Quran – a message for all mankind. A message that took us from extreme darkness to the Ultimate light of guidance. A message that taught us to believe, love, hope and respect all of humanity. This message brought the ultimate liberation to the status and the role of Woman.

It all began with becoming a believer in the eyes of her Creator. HER story will highlight her journey from being a mere possession in society to achieving the status of a believer in the eyes of her Lord.
  • Muslimah: Identity given by Allah - Sis. Tasneem Ghauri
All the freedoms and pleasures we enjoy are our God given right and privilege. As a Muslimah Allah believes in our potential of being the gender that carries nations forward. We are protected under the laws of Allah, He has honoured women by ordaining rights and privileges enjoyed by women since the advent of Islam. This session explore s the freedoms and rights granted by Allah to women.
  • Garments for One Another - Prof Dr. Muhaya
Allah describes the relationship between a man and woman as one of love, respect, devotion, support, and contentment. This session explores the Islamic paradigm of marriage and the role women and men play in having a healthy relationship according to the Qur’an and Sunnah. It will also highlight the importance of why the pair needs each other to build strong communities and a better society.
  • The Sahabiyaat: Women of Substance  - Sis. Zohra Sarwari
To this day we benefit from the courage and knowledge of the greatest women to walk this earth. Their concerns for issues which are relevant to women lead to the correct understanding of Islam. Stories of these women should inspire us and we can only be grateful to them for their zeal and desire to learn and get close to Allah.
  • It’s a GIRL! -  - Br. Yusha Evans
Maryam (AS)’s birth is a lesson for all of mankind. Her mother had hoped for a son to serve in the worship of Allah, and instead she was given a daughter. Allah chose Maryam as His devotee, sending a profound message that a female believer is just as beloved to Him as a male believer.
  • Freedom of Choice  - Prof. Dr. Zaleha
It is made explicitly clear in the Qur’an that every individual enjoys the freedom of choice and has liberty either to accept of reject any idea, concept or way of life. This talk aims to explore the usual options we are presented in life, and how to best utilise our instinctive wisdom to make the right choice.

and for workshop:

  • Qur’an Recitation - Br. Fatih Seferagic
Learn tips and steps in memorizing the Qur’an, pointers for learning tajweed and familiarize yourselves with the different methods of recitation (Qira’at) in this one-‐of-‐a-‐kind workshop conducted by a world-‐renown Qari and hafidh.
  • Positive Mental Attitude  - Prof Dr. Muhaya

This talk will elaborate on different ways us to maintain a positive outlook on life in spite of all challenges and calamities we may face.
  • The Fitnah of Wealth & Family - Sheikh Daood Butt
As women, you are the education of the future. You raise children who grow to be the leaders of the world. Sounds good, right? But most people don’t see it that way. Most mothers feel burdened by being at home and not living the “Modern Mum” lifestyle. This session will open your eyes to who you are as a woman, and how you can use wealth and family to your advantage on the Day of Judgment.
  • One Woman, Different Hats  -  Sh. Alaa El Sayed

Besides that, they has this ..........

Sisters’ Corner: “In Sakinah” where you can pemper yourself with spa, henna, manicure/pedicure/ beauty in Islam ..

IT IS A LOT RIGHTT! Alhamdulillah i managed to attend
One Woman, Different Hats,

from this workshop, i learnt that each hats got different role... She is a wife, a mother, a child to her parents(hats). This woman has to acted differently for each hats. This is quite tough i guess..the speaker give the tips that..

Education VS Schooling Sis. Tasneem Ghauri

the speaker believe woman is the best teacher for her children. the education system out there is somehow not fair to all , student have to fit in a standard where actually every child ability is different..she's said, the children needs life of experience so, with homeschooling you can teach your child personally and more spiritually. Most of success full people are not going to school such as, Thomas Eddison, Steve Jobs, Ingvar Kamprad and many more..

to make this happen..you actually have to:

1) unemployed/ fulltime housewife
2) husband must have enough money because homeschooling is actually expensive because you have to provide the proper environment, education tools and some money for addition program like visiting places, sports and etc.
3) you need an assistant for house chores
4) you also need salary for your own reward / leisure

The bad thing of School education is.. it's create negative competitive spirit to the child and thus will bring the low self esteem and low confident level.. I agree with this, because this was happen to me actually. Remember, every child is different, the way they adapt, they way they understand and the way they can accept..we cannot judge the achievement by the examination because what determine the successful of the children is actually attitude, spiritual,manners.. don't stress out about the academic, stress out about learning about Allah , Quran and living skills, and slowly add up with science, math, language..etc. InshaaAllah they will shoot up catching for other knowledge.

(i'm not sure i can do this, but InshaaAllah i know what is the best)

******
i just remember about this..
which i want to blogged about it so i won't forget..
sis Tasneem was commented about ; most of young people/parents/couple nowadays are busy with their gadgets/smartphones.. she saw a young parents dining out together but the parents are busy with handphones; neglected the children! how sad! *what is important now? quality time with family or FB & internet*

and It’s a GIRL!

this talk made me feels blessed being a Girl , a woman..
but there's a big challenge to be a real Muslimah , nowadays (tbc)
