Wean-off Pacifier battle day 1

Assalamualaikum,
Selamat hari jumaat!
Hana had a fever last week..and it seem that she had a fever once in a month!does it normal?
I dont think so...

Back to the topic above, it's actually one of my mission to be accomplished during my unemployed period. There's a lot of to-do list which need to be achieved. One of them was no more pacifier for Hana..i was doing this quite drastic..but i was plan about this a longgg ago..
It's the time to wean off the pacifier when..

She always on fever, flu,cough
She feels so comfort with the pacifier and this is not a good sign
She refuse to eat, only want milk
Too comfort,untill it's hard to wake her up from sleep/ nap
The pacifier always get dirty with dirt, hairs and etc because she always throw it anywhere she wants

Before i cut the pacifier a bit in the middle , i'm always telling her that it was stingy, dirty etc
So i think that will recorded in her mind and will help her understand about this.

As a mother, this is a big challage by this stage, because u'll facing hard feelimgs either pity , give up,   Or patient, relax, and firm. Deep inside me i was hoping that she will wean it off by herself like other child. But that's not happen.

And today, (because i feel so uneasy of the late wakeup and refuse to eat) i feel kind of mad and frustrated,  so cut it a bit in a middle!

i bought this pacifier since she's four month..this is Basilic Brand, it's suitable till 6 months old..but she used this until 20 months!


So there's a hole in the middle of pacifier!
I said that i was cockroach who bite it!

she was soo angry and get mad, pity her because she had a flu & a bit cough..but i have to be firm because the pacifier is one of the reason she's always got flu & cough

the day one battle is kind of tired; i'm not doing anything except supporting (entertain) her ; and finally she fall asleep for a nap about 1 hour after watching sesame street ; yes, she manage to sleep without soother or maybe she's too sleepy. and i bake some muffins for her, to make sure she always has something to eat..

at night is the most challenging; she refuse to sleep even-though she is really sleepy, and she so angry to see her puting kopek has bitten by cockroach..after a few times of battle, eventually she's fall asleep in my cradle arms..

observation day 1:

- she's rely on soother when she's wanna sleep
-she's cannot accept another pacifier
